"To be persuasive, we must be believable; to be believable, we must be credible; to be credible, we must be truthful."

Coalition Building & Issue Advocacy

US Capital BuildingCongressional advocacy is often most effective when multiple entities band together to support a common goal. We recognize that this often entails setting day-to-day competition aside for a greater good. KHA has formed and managed coalitions to drive understanding and clarity on issues ranging from education to defense and energy. This includes educating officials across federal agencies, congressional authorizing committees, and members of Congress representing key interests in a particular area. Press relations, community outreach and employee support are all key elements in helping our clients manage the issue.

The management of the coalitions that we've brought together or the creation and management of a government affairs committee within an existing coalition is a strength of Kinghorn, Hilbert and Associates and is a cornerstone of our business.

Event Planning

KHA includes an event planner on staff, and we have successfully executed yearly conferences nationwide, ranging from 50 to 1,000 people for clients including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and EPA. These efforts have included every step of the preparation and execution process, from arranging venues and vendors to reviewing contracts and day-of-event on-sight coordination.

We utilize these skills to bring together groups in support of our clients needs. For example, KHA organized and hosted a fundraiser for a senator in his home state. We used our contacts to find the location; were responsible for all 50+ attendees; and raised more than $15,000 for the senator's reelection campaign.
